Important Information!

Everyone, regardless of age, is required by law to have a life jacket that is accessible and with them at all times. Life jackets are provided with each tube rental, or available to rent on their own, it is recommended that each participant wear their life jacket during the entire river float.
In case of an emergency you must immediately call 911. Identify that you are on the river and explain the emergency. If possible, provide a landmark (Bridge, beach, power lines, etc.) Search and Rescue will be able to direct you or they will be able to come to your aid. We do not, nor can we, deploy a Search and Rescue team.
The Pembina River follows a gorge and quite often wind, and rain will cause trees to break and fall in or near the river. You may encounter branches, and sometimes even trees, in the river. You must avoid them by using the provided paddles or you may pop your tube.
If you fall out of your tube while you are floating, do not PANIC. Let others in your party know and try to climb back in your tube. If you are unable to get back in your tube you should hold on to your tube and swim or walk to shore and you can get back in.
Please note: The Pembina River is generally shallow enough to stand up except around the bends where it tends to get deeper. Wearing your properly fitted life jacket will keep you safe if you fall out of your tube.
Our tubes have 3 air chambers to prevent them from completely sinking as well as a specially designed cover to protect from the rocks that are famous for popping tubes. If your tube gets damaged you have 2 choices 1. Walk back up to us at Pembina River Tubing and wait until your party returns from their tubing trip (there are exit points that lead back to us) 2. Walk to the pick up point so you can return on the bus.

Reservations will reopen May 24th, 2026.
